RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By reading or signing this document, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation:
   I understand that my participation in the 2025 Kansas Party Games (“the Event”) is entirely voluntary. I understand the nature of the competitions and assume all risks associated with my involvement, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or personal property damage.

2. Health & Safety Acknowledgment:
   I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. I understand that events may involve physical exertion, alcohol-themed activities, and potential interaction with other participants and event equipment.

3. Assumption of Risk:
   I acknowledge that participation in games and competitions may carry inherent risks, including, but not limited to, slips, falls, collisions, or overexertion. I accept full responsibility for any and all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen.

4. Release & Waiver:
   In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release and hold harmless Virtual Effect Management, LLC, Kansas Party Games, its organizers, affiliates, sponsors, volunteers, and venue partners from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, injury, or damage sustained by me during or in connection with the Event.

5. Photo & Media Release:
   I grant the Event organizers the right to photograph, record, and use my image or likeness in any promotional materials, social media, or advertising, without compensation.

6. Code of Conduct:
   I agree to follow all event rules and staff instructions. I understand that disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe behavior may result in my removal from the premises without refund.

7. Alcohol Use Disclaimer:
   Some events may involve access to alcoholic beverages. I affirm that I am 21 years of age or older if I choose to participate in those activities. I accept full responsibility for my behavior and the consequences of alcohol consumption.

8. Governing Law:
   This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any legal action shall be brought in Sedgwick County, Kansas.
